Oven does not heat up

Issue

Resolution

First, check whether only one or more types of heating are not working.

Only one type of heating does not work:

Make sure the temperature is set manually if your oven doesn't suggest a temperature. Select the desired temperature and function.

Several types of heating do not work:

1. The oven display is blank/dark. Check whether the fuse or RCD has tripped. This may indicate incorrect installation or a problem with a power source. If this is the case, refer to the article Oven blows / trips fuses for further troubleshooting.

2. Check if the time is set on your appliance that has a digital clock.

A flashing oven clock (showing 00:00 or 12:00) indicates that the clock was not set after the appliance's installation, or that there was a power cut. To set the clock, refer to the articles:

3. Check whether the Duration and End function has been set. Refer to the appliance user manual.

4. The demo mode is activated (depending on the model) and this is shown on the display. The oven displays "Demo" or "d". Refer to the articles:

5. The Child Lock is activated (depending on the model).
