The type of cookware used and the method of using the induction hob affect the condition of the glass installed on it. Below you will find examples of discolorations that may occur and their causes.
Using cookware made of the wrong material

Explanation:
The material from which the cookware is made reacts with the induction coil of the induction hob. Improper alloy of cookware may cause discoloration on the glass surface.

Explanation:
An uneven or damaged bottom of the pan may heat up much more in some places than in others. Similarly, the bottom of an empty vessel left on a hot plate reaches a much higher temperature. Places where the temperature is excessive may cause discoloration. This is the result of incorrect operation and/or use of faulty cookware .
Use appropriate cookware on induction cooking zones.
- The bottom of the vessel must be as thick and flat as possible.
- Before placing the pot on the hotplate, make sure its bottom is clean and dry.
- To avoid scratching the ceramic glass surface, do not move dishes on it.

- it is possible to quickly boil water in a vessel placed on a cooking zone set to maximum power;
- the magnet is attracted to the bottom of the vessel (from the outside and the inside).
