Hob displays error message E7
Issue
- Hob displays error message E7
- Error code E7 in induction hob
Applies to
- induction hobs

Resolution
Error message E7 indicates a cooling fan error in newer appliances and a power board error in appliances made before 2010.
1. To resolve the cooling fan issue:
Open the drawer under the hob and ensure nothing is blocking the fan.
Disconnect the appliance from power for at least 30 seconds. In the case of built-in appliances, it is unnecessary to disconnect the cable physically - the appliance can be disconnected using the household RCD breaker.
Reconnect it and switch it back on.
