Resolution
The top tip for cleaning our appliances is to use hot, soapy water and wash by hand.
This applies to pan supports, burners, and burner caps in this instance.
These are NOT dishwasher safe.
If there are any stubborn marks on the supports, burners, or burner caps, a soft brush can be used.
If your hob has controller knobs that come off, allow them to soak in a bowl of white vinegar. (If you can't remove the knobs, spray them thoroughly with the solution.)
The video below shows specifically how to wash the pan supports and burner caps, however, the burners themselves can also be washed in this way.
