Oven - How to replace the steam generator

Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Always take care when moving appliances. For heavy appliances it's safest for two persons to move it. Always use safety gloves and safety footwear. Wear safety gloves at all times to protect from cuts from sharp edges.

Before any repair or maintenance operation make sure the appliance is not hot.

Only adults should use or install the product.
Make sure to use the product only for its designated purpose and verify that it is a compatible part for the intended product.
Do not use or install the product if damaged.

HOW TO REPLACE STEAM GENERATOR
1. Unscrew the front two screws for the top panel. Slide the top panel back and then lift to release.
2. Unscrew the seven Torx 20 screws from the back panel and lift to release the back panel.
Note: Ensure that the four catches are correctly in position when reinstalling the back panel.
3. Unscrew the two Torx 20 screws on each side of the terminal block cover and then lift the cover to remove.
4. Carefully disconnect wiring connectors from the steam generator spade and from the power board. (Note: Take a photo of the wiring positioning/location before disconnecting). Be careful not to damage the connectors.
5. Unscrew the four Torx 20 screws and remove the fan cover inside the oven.
6. Use a small flat bladed screwdriver to unclip the water hose to the steam generator. Note: When refitting you may need to use pliers to squeeze the clip together, ensure that there is a tight connection to prevent water leakage during use.
7. Pull the steam generator out of the hose to release. Note: Be careful not to damage the hose.
8. When reassembling, repeat steps in reverse order.
