Always take care when moving appliances. For heavy appliances it's safest for two persons to move it. Always use safety gloves and safety footwear. Wear safety gloves at all times to protect from cuts from sharp edges.

HOW TO REPLACE FAN MOTOR

1. Unscrew the two Torx 20 screws for the terminal block cover on the back panel of the appliance.

2. Unscrew each of the live, neutral and earth wires from their corresponding terminals with a flat bladed screwdriver and unscrew the two PH2 bolts for the cable holder to release and remove the cable.

3. Unscrew the nine Torx 20 screws for the back panel and the four Torx 20 screws for the hob top. Then remove the back panel by pulling the bottom away from the body of the appliance.

4. Unscrew the four PH2 screws for the fan cover to release and remove.

5. Unscrew the 10mm nut holding the fan blade in place and then remove the fan blade. Note: The nut is a reverse thread so will need to be turned clockwise to release.

6. Carefully disconnect wiring connectors from the fan motor spade. (Note: Take a photo of the wiring positioning/location before disconnecting) Be careful not to damage the connectors.

7. Use a small flat bladed screwdriver to bend out the retaining clip on the fan motor crossbar.

8. Unscrew the Torx 20 screw for the earth tag connected to the hob front panel. (NOTE: Ensure all earth connections are reconnected when reinstalling)

9. When reassembling, repeat steps in reverse order.
