HOW TO REPLACE UPPER HEATING ELEMENT

Before replacing any part of the appliance remove the door when the appliance is still mounted in the furniture. Door removal is described in the User Manual.

Screw placement and their number may differ depending on appliance.

1. Unscrew the screws at the top of the panel and lift the two back panel tabs out of their securing slots from the bottom of the oven. For cookers removal of screws holding the hob may be needed.

2. Carefully disconnect wiring connector from the heating element spade. (Note: Take a photo of the wiring positioning/location before disconnecting) Be careful not to damage the connector.

3. Unscrew the two nuts either side of the heating element. Warning: Always refit the earth cable when reinstalling.

4. Undo the retainingscrew for the upper element inside the oven cavity and gently pull the element from the cavity towards the door to release the element.

5. When assembling, repeat steps in reverse order.
