Resolution
The lint filters in our washing machines are firmly secured and tightened to provide effective protection against leaks. However, it is important to check and clean the drain pump filter regularly to maintain optimal performance and water flow.
The drain pump filter plays a key role in retaining small contaminants such as hair, threads and other particles that may accumulate during the wash cycle. If the filter is blocked or clogged, it may lead to drainage problems and cause the washing machine to malfunction.
To prevent these potential problems, we recommend that you regularly check your drain pump filter and clean it if necessary. The cleaning procedure is usually simple and can be found in your washing machine's user manual. It is worth remembering that before cleaning, turn off the washing machine and disconnect it from the power supply.
Regularly checking and cleaning the drain pump filter is an important step in ensuring the proper functioning of your washing machine and preventing potential breakdowns. Thanks to this, you can enjoy reliable operation of the washing machine and avoid possible problems with water drainage.
To locate and clean the filter:
1. Open the pump cover located in the lower right corner of the appliance.
2. Place a bowl or an oven tray below the drain pump opening to collect the flowing water.
3. Open the trough downwards. Always have a cloth nearby to dry any water leaks when removing the filter.
Try to use a tool (e.g., pliers) to loosen or remove the filter, but do not use too much force so as not to damage the plastic elements.
If foreign bodies, such as bra underwires, get into the filter, the filter may become jammed. The only way to remove this item may be to use a little force, but be careful not to damage the appliance.
If necessary, a replacement filter can be purchased in our online shop.
4. Rotate the filter 180 degrees counterclockwise to open it; do not remove it. Let the water drain out.
5. Rotate the filter counterclockwise to remove it.
6. If necessary, remove lint and objects from the filter cavity.
7. Clean the filter under the tap.
8. Insert the filter back into the special guides by turning it clockwise. Make sure the filter is tightened properly to prevent leaks.
Caution: Do not attempt to use washing machine without filter!
