Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Before any maintenance operation, turn off water supply to the appliance. Always empty the appliance of all the water. Any maintenance should be carried out with the appliance standing upright. Residual water could damage electronics if the appliance is placed on any of its sides.
Make sure to use the product only for its designated purpose and verify that it is a compatible part for the intended product.
Do not use or install the product if damaged.

HOW TO REPLACE SPRING SUSPENSION TUB
1. Unscrew the two 8mm screws on the back of the washing machine lid and slide back to release.
2. Wedge a flat bladed screwdriver under the spring and use it to lever out the spring slightly to hook a strong cable/rope under the spring. (NOTE: Must be strong enough to hold the weight of the drum). (It is recommended to take a photo of the position of the spring on the side support and the drum to ensure that the spring is repositioned on the correct notches during reinstallation.)
3. Lift the spring up and away from the appliance side to release.
3. Unhook the spring from the drum support.
4. NOTE: Durning reinstallation ensure that both hooks of the spring have their plastic support fitted.
5. When assembling, repeat steps in reverse order.
