Before any repair or maintenance operation, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket.

Always empty the appliance of all the water, e.g. tumble dryer water container. Any maintenance should be carried out with the appliance standing upright. Residual water could damage electronics if the appliance is placed on any of its sides.

How to replace the thermostat

1. Remove the ice matic group. Then unscrew the three screws which are fixing the ice matic holder and remove it

2. Unscrew the two screws which are fixing the thermostat cover and remove it by pulling forward.

3. Disconnect the housing and take out the Electro mechanıcal thermostat with its cover.

4. Replace the complete assembly.
